The Mission

I can’t possibly predict why you want to run for public office. The reasons that motivate new candidates include everything from water bills to women’s sports, from parental rights to potholes. But I think it’s safe to say you’re running because you want to fix things. You want to make a difference in your community (even if it’s just finally getting someone to fill in those pesky potholes). But how do you get the chance to implement your ideas?
Well sadly, the candidates with the best ideas aren’t always the candidates who get elected. In fact, it often seems like the people with the bad ideas have the advantage over us commonsense folk. But why?

The answer is marketing. Voters are a lot like consumers, whose purchasing decisions are based largely on how products and brands are presented to them. I’ve seen a lot of campaigns in my time, and I’ve seen many good candidates lose because their opponents were much more effective at marketing themselves to the electorate. And without a strategic plan to reach and influence voters in your favor, your campaign will likely suffer the same fate. Maybe that’s why you’re here.

Well, you've certainly come to the right place. What you need is a guide, someone who's been around the political block a couple of times, someone who knows the landscape and the pitfalls, someone who's seen the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. That's me. I'm a full-service political consultant and campaign manager who can help you get started on the right track. Let's sit down and have coffee -- it's on me. And who knows? Maybe you'll get to see those potholes filled after all.
